- Is this too good to be true?
It seems like being able to donate free money to our organization should have a catch. Honestly, there is no catch. By having our supporter’s shop their on-line stores, the retailers get the customers they desire without investing in expensive internet advertising campaigns and we receive the referral fees to support our efforts. This is a win for the stores, our organization, and our supporters.
- What is a referral program?
Referral programs (sometimes called affiliate marketing programs) were designed by on-line retailers as a means of driving customers to their store without spending advertising until a purchase is made.
- Will this cost me anything?
No. You go directly to the on-line stores own website to purchase products directly from the store. By going through our portal, your transaction carries a “cookie” that allows the retailer to track and pay the referrals.
- Will my transactions be safe?
As outlined in #2, you will be dealing directly with the specific on-line retailers on their normal websites. The transactions are only as safe as the retailer’s security. However, we only do referral business with the top on-line retailers in the world.
- Do I have to register or sign up for anything?
No. You simply come through the portal and shop as you normally do.
- Will my privacy be protected?
On-line security and identity theft is a very real problem. While the portal attaches a “cookie” to your transaction, there is no information whatsoever collected. All transactional information is on the retailer’s secure sites.
